You select the enemy to attack with the A button and you'll attack automatically. You can then select different kinds of attacks after you're engaged. It's really supposed to be played with strategy, by bringing up the menu and selecting the attack, etc, and it's recommended that if you'd rather play it like an action game you play on the lowest difficulty.Dragon Age: Origins Controls?
It's an RPG. so its more like you just click on an enemy then it attacks and you move by clicking on a location(not fun, i know). you can have a party of up to four member. And you can choose each member fighting style. i do not recommend this game. IT SUCKS! i got bored of it from the first day. it gets old pretty quick.it has a nice storyline and its a little bit strategic but all you do is click on an enemy and watch your character fight with it which is boring! the places you can go are limited, you cant jump on anything, you cant go in water or lakes, you cant climb. Another thing is that you interact with in-game characters more than you battle, but you can select what you want to say from a list of given choices. Oh and BTW, its really bad on the Xbox 360 since the game is strategic nd you have a cursor thingy to select stuff, so its way easier to play on PC.
anywayz, this is just my opinion, if you like games with a good plot and you keep on fighting to level up your character and buy new swords,helmet,armour etc...... then go for it.
it's kinda sad though, this game could have been awesome :(
