Here's the kicker: the games work fine on my friends' 360's. My friend had been borrowing Dragon Age: Origins for a few weeks before I got my 360 back, and it worked fine on his system. I even played it myself and it worked perfectly. For some reason or another, my 360 isn't playing most of my games =(
Basically, my question is this: Is there a way I can clean my games that will make them playable on my 360?
P.S. Sorry for the long read, but I thought I should get in every detail so people don't get confused and so they can help me as much as possible. Thanks to all who try to help. It's greatly appreciated =)Why is my Xbox 360 not playing games?
Ship it back to Microsoft, normally they should fix it or send another one. If that dosnt work, you better have 300$ for a PS3. AND if that dosnt work, break out the-...nevermind, Wii is ****. LOL

I would try contacting microsoft, they may even give you another XBOX. I have had the same problem with the E74 error. Why is my Xbox 360 not playing games?
sounds like the lens on your dvd drive is dirty you can buy special cds with little brushes on them to clean them , good luck with that
if its still broke after that send it batck to microsoft
Have you updated the system? The one I received back had no updates on it. You need to contact Microsoft and let them know your situation. If the updates don't help don't be surprised if you have to send it back. I know people that had problems long after the RROD.
