Is Dragon Age: Origins like Oblivion (xbox 360)?

I've checked out a few sites on dragon age: origins, but i just cant decide if i want it. i'm sort of looking for a game very similar to oblivion. I liked having a house, choosing whether to be 'good' or 'bad', having different weapons (bow%26amp;arrow, sword) and being able to mix and match armor. i'm also looking for a good storyline, and a game that you can still play even after the main story is completed. thanks!Is Dragon Age: Origins like Oblivion (xbox 360)?
Dragon age is much more linear than oblivion. There is a plot line you need to follow and once it's finished you can't keep on exploring. But it's a long game with lots of side quests and places to explore. You also need to be able to fight with a team of characters instead of only focusing on your own. It's similar to oblivion in terms of customization, but there isn't much user created content yet. Characters and situations will also change based on the choices you make and the origin you start with.



I think you would like Dragon Age, maybe rent it first if you aren't sure.Is Dragon Age: Origins like Oblivion (xbox 360)?
it's pretty different. it's much more comparable to Baldurs gate (it's made by the same people) if you've played that.
