Just wondering if I should get Dragon Age : Origins?

Well im 14 and Have a reasonable amount of money from my birthday ;D and was just wondering if i should get dragon age origins? i absolutely love RPGS and games like oblivion,fallout 3 etc. I also love medieval games and films like lord of the rings stuff like that...so all in all it looks like the perfect combination. But its made by the people that made mass effect and i hated that game...I am buying on xbox 360 maybe PC if it sounds alot better on PC...Anyone who has experience playing the game? Any answers would be deeply appreciated :)Just wondering if I should get Dragon Age : Origins?
Don't worry, it's MUCH more of an RPG than mass effect. I hated mass effect as well and absolutely love this game! There are so many choices to make and different outcomes so you will want to play it over and over again. I have the Xbox 360 version, but from what i've heard, the only difference is that on the pc you can zoom out and play the game in a tactical view. So i guess it depends if you like strategy games over 3rd person fighting games. The combat in the game is different from Oblivion. On the 360, it runs kind of like a strategy game but still has the different attacks and fighting of Oblivion, which is definately a good thing!! You can choose from six different origin stories in the beginning and can make your character completely unique. I highly recommend this game if you liked Oblivion and Lord of the Rings. Definately worth the money.

Ive had this game for a week and loved it. Very great storyline and excellent addicting game play and over 100 hours of fun. If your PC is able to run it on high graphics i suggest getting it on PC. This game is one of th best RPGs of the year in my opinion.Just wondering if I should get Dragon Age : Origins?
its a fking good game, playing it atm myself, i strongly suggest you get it, and the rts style micro managing is also a niuce twist on the usual game if you play it in a harder difficulty level :D
Get the PC version, the console versions have been somewhat 'dumbed down' due to the limitations of the controllers.Just wondering if I should get Dragon Age : Origins?
