What game should I purchase for Xbox 360 this fall?

I'm interested in picking up a very solid game for my 360 this fall. I normally pick up 1 game a year. I own a few 360 games (about 6) and I am generally a fan of shooters. I've been playing GOW2 for a bit now and got away from Halo. However, I am looking for something a little bit different and unique this time around.



What would you suggest? I have considered Halo ODST and Batman which got great reviews on IGN, but I'm still unsure. What about Borderlands or Dragon Age? I was considered Dragon Age because I don't play many RPG's and this one looks impressive from what I've seen.



I guess what I'm getting at is if you had to buy one game this fall for your 360, what would it be and why?What game should I purchase for Xbox 360 this fall?
If you are a serious FPS fan then 100% get Modern Warfare 2. Its going to be one of the most sold games of all time. I bought CoD 5 last Christmas, and I havent played anything else since. The CoD series is insanely addictive, it will save you a bucket load of money. Its the only game im going to buy until the new one, probably a year yet.
Halo 3 ODST is brilliant, and is fantastic value if you have never played Halo 3, as it comes with the whole halo 3 multiplayer on the second disk, the new firefight mode is pretty sweet too.



Dragon age is being made by bioware who have an amazing track record, but it looks like more of an action game rather than an RPG.

the best plan i could think of is probably waiting a lil while until november and get modern warfare because as you said you like shooters and this is a hell of an amazing one lol

if you don't like cod fair enough but in my opinion modern warfare will annihilate all of the other competition for game of the year.
