DAO is free roam to an extent, there are a number of levels (around the 10 number i think) that are fairly large and you spend a lot of time in each of them. It is a great game with a great storyline, BC2 got nothin on it.

Battlefield bad company 2 or dragon age origins?
Hey i want bad company 2 but i also want dao but i dont know if dragon age is free roam or not and i dont like rpgs that are not free roams but bad company 2 does it have lots of ppl on regularly and are they nice (xbox 360) i found mass effect 2 more of just do what it tells you and to easy so is dao harder and take a long time to beat and not just run in and hack and slash? and for bad company 2 do i need to download any dlcs that i would have to pay for to be able to play with ppl? thanks :D sorry for the questions and how they are kinda randomly in the thing im really tired!Battlefield bad company 2 or dragon age origins?
