What system? XBOX 360 or PS3?

Ive been playing PC games for years religiously, but want to try some other alternatives because upgrading on PCs can burn a pretty big hole in your wallet and i wanna save money so im gunna start playing some games on Console, but which one to get?lol. XBOX 360 or PS3? I play alot of FPS (first person shooters) games, Crysis, Unreal Tournament, Halo, COD, Far cry etc...and also 3rd person shooter games, Gears of war, Mass Effect etc...i as well play alot of RPG (role playing games) and adventure games, Dragon Age: Origins, Oblivion, 2 worlds, Neverwinter Nights etc........not real big on sports games and racing games, though i love both in real life, lol. But what im asking is, which system between the two is more accurate? more comfortable? more casual? better graphix? better processing? better EVERYTHING?! LOL.What system? XBOX 360 or PS3?
Xbox 360. It's a better all around console. You can hook it up to your PC, and the game you listed are mainly multi platform games and for some reason those always seem to be better on Xbox.

PS3 has better graphic capabilities than the 360, but honestly, games on the PS3 rarely ever use it's graphic capabilities to it's full extent. So the graphics are about the same.

To me the 360 controller is more comfortable.

I don't understand what you mean as more accurate.

They're both about the same when it comes to casualness, but 360 is starting to move more towards the casual gamer area and this can be seen with games they plan to release. The PS3 is moving more towards casual gaming as well, but not as much as the 360.

Processing is the same deal as graphics.

Overall, if you want a good, powerful gaming system and would like to have a Blu-Ray player, I'd go for the PS3.

But if you want a relaxed more casual "do it all" console, than I'd go with the 360(keep in mind the 360 recently added last.fm, facebook, twitter, and netflix to Xbox Live).
PS3 will last longer than the XB360 (from my experience the difference is VERY drastic) the PS3 has better graphic and a better processor, as for the games... might I suggest MGS4, any Final Fantasy game, Soul Calibur is pretty good. if you like sandbox games Prototype is decent. Along with games and sheer hardware, it also has a better functionality, it comes with a Blu-ray player, not an HDDVD drive you'll probably never use. Plus from what I've seen a lot more games are becoming PS3 exclusive. What system? XBOX 360 or PS3?
Both systems are good for what you want I believe. Unless you want to play Halo, then you should probably get 360. :P

What systems do you friends own? I'd get what they have so you can play online with them.

I own both systems, I prefer the PS3 but the Xbox360 is just as good. Keep in mind, I don't play Halo though. Look up all the games you want to get and see which consoles they go on. (Most games go on both consoles anyway, besides a few exclusives)

If you do end up getting a PS3, look into getting Uncharted 1 %26amp; 2. :)
Well i believe smoother controls will be the 360 it is comfortable the way your hands go out.First person shooter is better on 360 it has more games the PS3 is more all demand controls such as you controlevryone and thing so i will have to say #^)What system? XBOX 360 or PS3?
i suggest xbox 360 because its been out longer so it has a bigger variety of games
ps3 cause the new tekken looks awsome
