Why is this happening to my Xbox 360?

So I was playing Dragon age: Origins, and all was well till I got to Lothering. Now after I walked over the bridge, my xbox started making this odd humming sound, and then it said disc unreadable. So i cleaned it, restarted the console for like 5 times...and it would still not work. I am pretty sure something is wrong with the disc, because I got my 360 two months ago(my old one broke). Any thoughts on what might have happened? I just wanna make sure before a exchange this copy for another. Why is this happening to my Xbox 360?
what i do is get a bit of rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and wipe the SHINY side of the disk well then take a soft cloth and dry it. if that doesn't work many stores like gamestop or hastings have disk cleaning machines that clean the disks well for $2
Well I'd check the disc. The loud humming is probably the disc speeding up to read. Might be cracked in the middle. That's what happened to a few of my games.

And having an Xbox is better than having a big blue ray playing paperweight with a few good exclusive games. I like Sony Playstations but they missed it with the PS3. The guy at the top is a fanboy. Why is this happening to my Xbox 360?
The problem is that your disk holder is broken and u need to get a new one

since u got ur console 2 months ago, u can send it in to Xbox Customer Service and u can let them fix it for 4 free becasue all models now come with a 3-year warranty
I had the same problem.. It's the Disk drive, man.

I'll show you how to fix it.
